1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Prajnova Service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Prajnova ("we," "our," "us"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
Prajnova is a personal health intelligence platform that allows you to:
Connect health integrations (Apple Health, Fitbit, and others) to aggregate your health data
Upload and analyse lab reports and medical documents using AI
Interact with Nova, an AI-powered health assistant
Track health trends and insights over time
The Service is provided for informational and personal wellness purposes only.
3. Important Medical Disclaimer
Prajnova is not a medical device, medical provider, or substitute for professional medical advice.
The information, insights, analyses, and responses provided by Prajnova and its AI assistant (Nova) are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not intended to:
Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition
Replace or substitute for the advice of a qualified physician, specialist, or healthcare professional
Be used as the basis for making medical decisions without consulting a licensed healthcare provider
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, exercise, medication, or treatment plan. In a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept that AI-generated health insights may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not applicable to your specific situation.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Prajnova. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
5. Account Registration and Security
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately at support@prajnova.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
Upload content that you do not have the right to share
Use the Service to store or process health data belonging to other people without their explicit consent
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the Service
Use automated scripts or bots to access or scrape the Service
Impersonate another person or entity
Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful files
Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
7. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of all health data, documents, and information you upload to Prajnova ("Your Content").
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and use Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not violate the rights of third parties. We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
8. Third-Party Integrations
The Service integrates with third-party health platforms (Apple Health, Fitbit via Google Health, and others). By connecting an integration, you authorise Prajnova to access and store the data you select from that provider.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Prajnova is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or practices of third-party services. We make no guarantee that any integration will remain available.
9. AI Services and Limitations
Prajnova uses third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI and Anthropic) to power Nova and document analysis. You acknowledge that:
AI-generated responses may contain errors, omissions, or hallucinations
The AI does not have access to your full medical history unless you explicitly provide it
AI outputs are probabilistic and should not be treated as medical fact
We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated content
We continuously work to improve the accuracy and safety of AI outputs, but we cannot guarantee their correctness.
10. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding Your Content) are owned by Prajnova, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property without our express written permission.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
11. Availability and Modifications
We reserve the right to:
Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time
Update pricing (with advance notice for paid features)
Introduce new features or remove existing ones
We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes that affect your use of the Service. We are not liable for any interruption, modification, or discontinuation of the Service.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to health decisions made based on AI-generated content.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Prajnova and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Any content you upload to the Service
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, or to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Bengaluru, India.
If you are located in the European Union, you may have additional rights under local consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit those rights.
15. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7, 10, 12, 13, and 14 survive termination.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Prajnova regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
